Dear John,
Your visit to Zion Christian Academy on October 21 was a great blessing to all of our students and faculty.
We also had in attendance about 15 men from the Teen Challenge program here in Columbia. When you asked for
those who wished to accept Christ into their hearts, approximately 40 students and 3 of the men from Teen
Challenge raised their hands.
The first time I heard you share your testimony of Christ in your life was over 35 years ago when you spoke
to the Collierville High School FCA at my house in 1973. As you spoke here at Zion, I was impressed with the
fact that your zeal and enthusiasm for the gospel was still fresh and so pointedly direct. Comments about
the chapel service were so positive, such as "he was awesome" from a student to her parents and "John Bramlett
was so straightforward. We all need to hear his message." from a teacher.
Thank you John, for squeezing Zion into your busy schedule. God continues to use you in a mighty way. Your
extra meeting with our football team will be remembered by these young men throughout their lives.
It was great to see you again. God continues, through your ministry, to reach souls who might never respond to
someone else.
Thank you and God bless you,
Bob Yancey

Hi John and Nancy,
Hope all is going well your way. I am told according to WI state law that I can't put tracts under the wipers of
cars at Packers games. I am checking now to see if I can stand on the sidewalk and hand them out. I will still
continue to hand them out elsewhere and send them in cards. Thank you so much for all the tracts, I will get them
all out.
Take care and God bless you.
Praise God - love and prayers
Joni Fory
P.S. I did get out 1,400 tracts.
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Bramlett
Thank you once again for coming to Briarcrest to share God's miracles with our students. We will never know how many
seeds fell on fertile soil.
I am 56 ½ years old and I remember the first time I heard "The Bull "speak in 1973 or 74 in Maryville, Tennessee.
Your story is still the same and still a blessing. In your ministry, you both reach so many souls that conventional
pastors or church heads could never reach.
Thank you for speaking to our students and for allowing me to once again hear the beautiful Gospel message as only you
can tell it.
May God continue to bless you in your health and your passionate ministry.
Linda Rush
Dear "Bull"
I heard your testimony at Friendship Baptist Church in Huntsville, Al and have since relocated to South Korea with the
U. S. Army. I previously requested your tract "The Tamed Bull" and have used it extensively here.
These tracts are a great tool in our soul winning arsenal here with the soldiers, civilians, family members, as well as
the Korean people themselves.
We thank you for your labor for Christ and we are praying for you with faith, hope and loving care.
Yours in the Fellowship of Jesus,
Joe
Dear John and Nancy
God obviously foreordained that we would both be at the dentist office this morning in the pouring down rain. I was in
the chair next to you and want to thank you for giving me the copy of Nancy's book.
I picked it up when I arrived and had read through Chapter 2 when I was called back for my dental procedure. You must have
heard me ask Louis if he had read Nancy's book and he replied that he hadn't but had read yours. While I waited, I kept
reading, but couldn't help hearing part of the conversation going on in the room adjacent to mine. I heard your name mentioned
and figured out it was you.
When I left, the receptionist told me that you said for me to have the book. I was elated, as I had been praying for a dear
friend of mine who I will just call Stella, who is in the midst of much trauma in her life and family. I drove in the storm to
her house, called her and she said she was not felling well. I told her I had muffins for her but also a gift from God and you;
Nancy's book. I left it on the doorstep for her and left, praying that God would use that message of hope for her life.
Thank you for yielding your life to our Lord and for your testimony of God's grace and mercy. I will never forget the first time
I heard you at midtown BBC, as you shared with Dr. Rogers and then sang this little tune: "JESUS is the answer for the world today.
Above HIM there's no other, Jesus is the way." That song still blesses me and always reminds me of your and Dr. Rogers' comment that
if God could save John Bramlett, HE can save you.
Keep pressing on - for God's glory,
In Christ

FCA/Bull ministry report: In early November, 2009 Bull spent 4 days in East Tennessee and SW Virginia doing ministry
aong schools, prison ministry, churches and FCA banquets. We Saw over 60 decisions by people to trust Christ as their Savior and Lord!
Numerous other lifechanging decisions were made in those 4 days by student and adults alike... to God's Glory. Thank you Bull for your
faithful service and friendship.
Your brother in Christ,
Steve McAuley
FCA Staff, East Tennessee
Also received this update from FCA's Andy Barnes:
Last Week with Bull Bramlett:
Monday night-Male athletes and their fathers from Scott County at Gate City First Baptist (7 salvations and 4 rededications).
Tuedsay afternoon-School wide assembly at West Greene High School. Bull boldly but compassionately told of his journey. A Christ
centered presentation. Although an "invitation" was not permitted, Reece Baughard (coach) and Larry Bible (principle)
Thursday afternoon-Bull spoke at Daniel Boone team meal at Boone Trail Baptist Church. 8 players went forward and are being followed up
on by those who sow daily into the spiritual lives of the players at Boone. In each case students and coaches/administrators were very
appreciative and gracious.
Please pray especially for Larry Bible, principal at West Greene, as this was a very bold move on his part. He jokingly said that it "this"
assembly doesn't cost me my job, I guess I'm okay.
Many thanks to you for your help and support in this outreach! |

Dear John,
God placed it on my heart to send you an email and tell you thanks. In fact, I should have done this many, many years ago. I am 42 years
old, and live in Knoxville, Tn with my wife and two children. God used you back around 1982 or 83 to lead me to Jesus. I had recently
joined the FCA group at Ooltewah High School and you spoke there that day. After hearing your testimony and the gospel, I went home that
night, got on my knees, prayed and accepted the gift of salvation that God had given me through Jesus Christ. Since that point, by His grace,
I have been in a steady persevering relationship with Jesus Christ. I love Him so dearly. I am leading my family and disciplining my children
in the Lord. I am also active in my church (Fellowship). God has also given me the opportunity to be a business owner, and I am seeking to honor
God as a steward in the market place.
I could go on and on about what God has done in my life, but I wanted to stop and say thank you for you
and your ministry; for it was through you that I know real treasure and will be with Christ for eternity.
Thank you!
Chris Yerger
To John "Bull" Bramlett
We cannot thank you enough for your willingness to come and share with our men this past Monday night, November 2. What an honor to have you,
and what a privilege to see God's moving power. Your passion for reaching lost souls with the Gospel of Jesus Christ is a clear and evident as
anyone we have ever heard share, and your evangelistic fervor is evident in how you preach and share through your powerful testimony. Not only
do you have a passion to reach the lost, but also to reach out to men. The Lord certainly used you to challenge men, young and old, to change
and for those fathers in attendance to be the spiritual leaders of their households. Your stories of playing in the NFL are humorous and
entertaining, yet your testimony of past failure and deliverance through Christ is powerful, and your challenge emphatic. What a blessing to
see 6 souls come to know Jesus Christ personally, and 4 more rededicate their lives to Him as well. We would be blessed to have you come back
and share at anytime. May God continue to bless you and your faithful service of Him.
In Christ,
Rev. Jeff Board
Associate Pastor Minister to students
1st Baptist Church of Gate City, VA
There are no words to tell you how grateful I am for you, and your willingness to counsel
with my son Wes.
Years ago, a very dear friend of yours and mine, Linda Parish. (I call her Pop) gave me a copy of your book "Taming the Bull". I read the book, and
thought it was truly a great story. Little did I know at the time, that my youngest son, Wes was going to have a personality so much like yours.
When he got into high school and college, his whole personality changed from being introduced to alcohol. For many years, I witnessed him being
overcome by the effects of alcohol. I have been praying for him for so many years, asking God to help him overcome his addiction to alcohol, and
to please show me how I could help him. I know he had asked Jesus into his heart when he was just a small boy, but I just couldn't see any signs
that Jesus was in his heart. I tried to talk to him about Jesus, tried to get him back in church, tired shaming him everything I knew to do as his
mother. I had so many of my friends praying for him, but I never saw any difference in his life.
Years and years of turmoil passed with him getting into trouble with the law, stitches, breaking bones, etc. from his addiction. I even tried going
to AL-Anon classes to see if I could find ways to help him. Knowing all along all it would take would be for Jesus to get a hold of his heart and
convict him that he needed to give his life to Him. After an episode in March, which resulted in a broken hand from anger, Jesus started working.
That night I again prayed for Jesus to heal Wes and myself.
John, I want to tell you that very night God spoke to me so plainly. He told me to find the book my precious friend gave me nineteen years ago, and
give it to Wes. The book God was talking about was yours. The next day I gave the book to Wes. God spoke to him in such a powerful way through your
life and testimony, He asked me if I could get our phone number so he could talk to you. Thank you for calling Wes, but most of all, for telling him
he needed Jesus. Praise God, you prayed with Wes to ask Jesus to save him.
Thank you Bull, for caring about my son. I just praise God for what He had done in Wes' life and I thank God for using you to get him there. I can
finally rest at night knowing that Wes is in God's hands now and that he truly lives for Him. Thank you so much for your testimony. I can't wait to see
what God is going to do in Wes life now!
May God Bless You Always

Reese Baughard (presently the West Greene High School huddle sponsor) and I were coaching at
separate elementary schools in Greene County in 1979. During that summer, we attended the TSSAA Coaches Clinic in Murfreesboro. The second morning we
were there, we decided to attend an FCA sponsored breakfast for coaches. The guest speaker was an ex-NFL football player by the name of John "Bull"
Bramlett. What a dynamic story of sin and redemption! Reese and I were both moved by the morning service. That night back in our dorm rooms, we talked how
it would be difficult to form a huddle at the elementary level. We also made a pact if we ever wound up at the same high school, we wold form an FCA huddle.
The next year, we were placed by the Greene County School Board at West Greene High School to coach! We formed a huddle the first year and since then, we
have seen hundreds of young people give their lives to Jesus as a result of our activities involving FCA and the prayers of the West Greene community
who support our chapter. Certainly, God led us to that breakfast thirty years ago in Murfreesboro and put us together at West Greene. It took the
Challenge of Bull Bramlett to provide the incentive to work as long as we have in the work of the FCA. Thank you bull for your challenge that day.
